Chloe is a Seattle based abstract fine artist, originally from just outside Portland, Oregon. She is grateful for a creatively encouraged childhood, dabbling in traditional fine arts, movement, and theatrical arts. Spending most of her adolescent years training as a studio dancer, this has influenced her current creative journey. Taking what she loved about dance training; storytelling through abstract movement, and leaving what she struggled with; the demand for perfection, Chloe now enjoys expression through the freedom of abstract painting. She is passionate about her work, and hopes to continue finding ways to bring the arts to everyone in a positive and welcoming way.

As a primarily self-taught artist, Chloe's practice is both meditative and curious; an exploration to represent with color what cannot be represented with words. Working intuitively with both brushes and fingertips, these works are a compilation of harsh strokes to transparent shadows to create abstract visuals intended to be seen in various perspectives. She is no stranger to color and ever changing style and direction, and sees her work as developing along with her as an artist. As a proponent of letting the art speak for itself, Chloe hopes her work can be felt and seen in a variety of perspectives.

In her free time, Chloe enjoys trying new recipes, hanging out with her two cats, and watching documentaries.
